ROUND 1

These suggestions are designed to make people aware of the Wine store from the street. From signage, to lighting, wall design, and window set up, all these changes promote the brand and help create an inviting environment. Focusing on gift baskets, you focus on your own curations, promoting both wines and curation in the process. We believe that a well designed window is what attracts street traffic and helps people realize that the store is open.

Although the city may not approve everything, the window display alone with the use of lights, should be the first item to tackle. This window design is an idea created without measurements. All of the items at the window should be mock-up pieces, including the baskets. When the sun hits the store window, you can close the shutters half way, keeping most of the window display and the full banner visible on concept 1, and most of the window display and the full chalkboard visible on concept 2.

Concept 1 shows a poster covering the right vertical window we can’t use for display. On the left interior wall, there’s a Virginia Philip Master Sommelier blue lettering.

Concept 2 shows a chalkboard on the inside of the right vertical window, and the poster that was on the exterior on concept 1 is now on the first interior left wall.

Lights will be needed for the window design. If you’d like to go ahead with a window design, we can do it together (as I will need your help with items and mock-ups), and we will need to source these lights.

This is a rough sketch to recommend the use of color lights to call attention to the building, specially during the evening, even when the store is closed.

Concept 1 shows lighting that fits the later hours of the day while the store is open, keeping the warm color at the entrance to complement the setting sun.

Concept 2 shows lighting for the evening, highlighting the larger wall that is seen from Atlantic Ave.

Below you can see both electric and solar outdoor light options. Colors can be changed to work with holidays. We used the blue to stay with the branding, and the orange as a contrasting color that brings warmth to the building.

OUTDOOR LIGHTS

$59.99 / 4 Pack

This is an option for electric lights, and would take figuring out the electric capabilities to instal them.

SOLAR OUTDOOR LIGHTS

This is an option for solar lights. These lights will go on automatically as the sun goes down, and should last about six hours (depending on how much sun there was during the day).

$68.99 / 4 Pack
