Lorenzo Di Alessandro, co-founder of Renaissance City and Vice President of Go Gnomo, is a designer with over 15 years of experience in game development and animation, as well as a commercial pilot with a decade of flying expertise. His innovative spirit and passion for creative design led him to co-found Renaissance City, where he collaborates with a team that shares his commitment to pushing boundaries.

Born in Florence, Italy, Lorenzo grew up in a household that fostered both artistic and entrepreneurial values, with a schoolteacher and painter for a mother and a dental technician for a father. His love for drawing developed early, but his fascination with flight led him to pursue an education in air traffic control during high school.

Lorenzo’s military service was cut short by a knee injury that required surgery, leaving him hospitalized for over a month. During his recovery, Lorenzo’s creativity flourished as he drew caricatures and comic strips of the hospital nuns. These lighthearted drawings later opened doors to professional opportunities in art and design.

In 1999, Lorenzo moved to Florida to follow his dream of becoming a pilot. Within two years, he earned his private, instrument, commercial, instructor, single, and multi-engine licenses. After instructing for a year, Lorenzo began flying commercially, covering routes throughout the U.S., Central America, and South America for the next seven years.

Throughout his flying career, Lorenzo never let go of his passion for drawing and graphic design. In 2007, he met Marina Tito, Invicta’s contract creative director and a student-pilot. This meeting sparked a professional partnership when Lorenzo’s design talent earned him a freelance position with Invicta. Over time, he contributed significantly to the brand, designing the Invicta Watch Pilot collection, creating animations for product launches, and even animating Good Puppy for Invicta.

In 2008, Lorenzo’s creativity expanded further with the development of the Good Puppy brand. He played a key role in illustrating the first eight children’s picture books and transforming them into narrated digital books and apps. In 2015, he co-founded Go Gnomo with Marina Tito, focusing on the Good Puppy Children’s Behavioral & Emotional System, under the guidance of family therapist Gabriel Tito.

Lorenzo’s ventures into Web3 led him and Marina to collaborate with Bobby Maddu on several NFT collections and Web3 projects. This partnership, established in 2022, brought together creative and technological expertise to foster groundbreaking innovations.
