Renaissance city is the product of collaborative work

It was during September, 2021, while exploring the web3 environment, that Marina Tito & Lorenzo Di Alessandro met Satyakanth Maddu and Jigar Panchal. The group got along very well; they shared principles and ethics. They all wanted to do something good, so they decided to collaborate on a project designed to empower the NFT artist community with free web3 tools and instruction. The group started working on a small city-block in the Voxels metaverse, featuring a museum, a castle, a hotel & restaurant, an alleyway, a pet shop, a builder’s office and a long boardwalk. Renaissance City would offer artists in the community a place where to display their work, meet collectors, host art events, such as exhibitions, launch parties and voxel fashion shows.

By March 2022, the group launched the project with “Art Womps,” an art exhibition. The show was a free event for participants and visitors alike. It was hosted on Twitter, while walking the Voxels metaverse, and recorded and played live on Twitch. Each art piece in the exhibition was linked to the artist’s private gallery, where each artist hosted a guided tour. But, since most artists couldn’t afford a Voxels parcel and a gallery buildout, the group built two galleries in Voxels Free Spaces to share with all exhibitors, at no cost to them. These galleries were theirs to keep, moving them into web3, by providing them with straight access to their collectors. By the end of Art Womps, Renaissance city had created three metaverse gallery buildouts that could upload into Voxels free spaces, and gave out 250 galleries to more than 180 artists in the community.

The team was so happy with the results, that they wondered what other good they could do, when the Good Puppy brand entered the conversation. Created by Marina Tito & Lorenzo Di Alessandro, the Good Puppy brand carries games, apps, children’s picture books, and the Good Puppy Children’s Behavioral & Emotional System, a cognitive behavioral toolkit designed for Home, School, and Therapy. This system helps obtain excellent results in child behavior in only a couple of weeks. But family therapists working with low income families cannot afford these tools, even when set at cost. So, the group decided to start a charity to deliver these tools for free, to family therapists working with low income families in the state of Florida.

In order to help launch Good Puppy Go’s Community Outreach & Go programs, the team decided to donate 50% of revenue from all Renaissance City sales. Besides offering its current Voxels galleries, Renaissance City will be launching a new project, designed to bring joy to many, while supporting mental health and making a very real difference in the lives of many more.
